Opportunity
• Work in Washington, DC or San Francisco, CA for extremely reputable organization
• Lead security design initiative
• Deliver quality service with high performing team
Requirements
• Minimum of ten years experience in the security systems design or design/build field. (MUST HAVE)
o Full understanding of the Architectural Process and be able to describe it (how worked with clients, architects, etc. to come up with designs). Worked in Stage 1 environment - from the ground up. (MUST HAVE)
• Experience with Enterprise Class Access Control Systems, Alarm Monitoring and Notification Systems, and Digital Closed Circuit Television Systems design. (MUST HAVE).
• Additional benefits are experience with Radio Frequency Identification Systems, Building Management Systems, Building Automation Systems, and Two-Way Radio communications. Facility hardening, blast protection, CPTED (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design), and traffic control experience a plus.
• Background should include systems integration, systems installation, project management, or systems research and development.
• Must be able to read and create systems drawings on supplied backgrounds (and CAD skills are a definite plus).
• Must be able to communicate and present to all corporate levels and possess exceptional writing, speaking, and presentation skills. Knowledge and ability to develop and conduct presentations using various tools as Power Point, Net Meeting, etc. are required. Strong background in proposal and report writing is required.
• Demonstrate employment tenure (no roles with less than two (2) year per assignment / job in last 6 years)
Additional desired abilities
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally (to 25%)
• Knowledge of existing, newly developed, and emerging technologies along with integration capabilities of systems is desired.
• Team Leadership and Project Management skills
• Client relationship management skills
• Multi-tasking capabilities and project load management
• Desired certifications (either/or):
o American Society for Industrial Security International
o CPP (Certified Protection Professional)
o PSP (Physical Security Professional)
o IAPSC (International Association of Professional Security Consultants)
