Yes. Panasonic customer service does, indeed, suck. But I like Panasonic for having the best stuff in their price range. -
As you stated, it is evolutionary... We do not see the obvious difference between them... nor the functionality.. but it is still a great IP dome...
We had a chance to compare it with Bosch best IP dome... well, besides obvious differences in aesthetics, we prefer Bosch any day of the week... price points between them is similar, yet in case of Bosch, their customer service, technical support and overall handle of their three years warranty (24 hours turn around of replacement units to replace the defective units) makes them the leader overall... compared to Panasonic's "it is always the customer's fault" attitude.., as some people within their organization do not believe that Panasonic equipment does fail..
Panasonic loyal end users always buy Panasonic, regardless what else is in the market...

Looks like Panasonic is replacing the NS-202A with the NS954.
Looks like it's evolutionary, not revolutionary (sorry to go into salesman mode, there). The main differences are the 954 has a better optical zoom and is better in low light.
The NS202A is my favorite IP PTZ- I hope the 954 really an improvement. What do you think?
