Hi, I am currently in the process of developing a PM program for the casino where I work. I'm having a bit of a problem finding some guides or standards for camera maintenance. I also want to set up manhour standards and watch standards. Anyone know any websites that may have some useful info?

Were I you, I'd contact Charlie Pierce, a contributing editor to Security Technology and Design, the sponsor of this forum, at [email protected] or Jack Gin, Extreme CCTV at [email protected].
In the product literature accompanying the product, there should be a statement of meantime to failure rates for their product. That number is the average lifespan you can expect. It can fail sooner; it can fail later.
If you have power conditioning equipment on the CCTV equipment, head end and camera, protect the coaxial cable of any other means of transmission, you should be able to set your PM schedules with assured confidence.
If you suspect power problems please contact Tom Shaughnessy at Power CET in Santa Clara at [email protected] or [email protected] as he is in the same state you are in.
Let me know how things turn out.
Enjoy the day,
Bill

I was able to attend a seminar where Charlie was a presenter, He knows his stuff and can translate it into real people talk.
During that program, He was a group leader on our threat & risk assessment assignment, and is a great resource.Quote me as saying I was mis-quoted.

If you really want to see something awesome, have both Charlie and Jack on the same platform. It is a learning experience that one will not soon forget.
Enjoy the day,
