Currently our property uses TOPS 2000 for generating maintenance work orders and accounting functions. Our facilities manager is considering using smart phones with a TOPS app for generating violation notices (parking & other rules infractions).

I'm curious if any apartment (or other) security officers use this system and your general opinion. Most of the security staff here are tech savvy (I'm probably the dinosaur of the bunch), but my concern would be that if it is not easy to use, there will be some reluctance to write up violations - i.e. nobody wants to make more work for themselves. Thanks in advance for any input.
