  • TRIDENT-TECK IP solutions

Has anyone used this software and hardware solution from http://www.tridenttek.com/ ?

I have been studying their solutions for a while and have not had a chance to play with any of their offering yet...

Few days ago they got bought out by Tyco Security... and with apparently good reasons.

Curious if anyone used it and if so, what do you think??

Any comments will be greatly appreciated...

    Metz-

It is good stuff- they recently had their solution in JVC's VRN-100U NVR. It never gained traction but therir SW is pretty slick.

I have a sample of this software coming to my direction sometimes this week. We will be testing them with both analog (with encoder of course) and IP cameras and see what this really does.

Only problem that we see right now is the cost per camera license... which has not been that clear at the moment. Basically they can give you the software for free and you have to buy a license each time to add a camera to it and there are no restrictions how many cameras you can add... or how many licenses you will purchase - great model if you ask me...

Very interesting concept software, but we will see..
