I would suggest that a security guard company can suggest you well as they use cameras to provide services.

I wouldn't look at a guard company to give you recommendations on video surveillance -- no more than you would ask an alarm company to give you executive protection. Go to your local electronic security systems dealer/installer/integrator company and tell them your needs. You need someone that understands what is available in current technologies.

I think they're called night owl? you can get 4 solid cameras with night vision and dvr for under $300 (259), thats a steal. I have a direct contract with a manufactuer in China, save the comments, all the major stores carry the chinese brands, they're great products and dirt cheap as i cut out about 3 stops. I can get anyone on this forum whatever they'd like, i've done my house with biometric locks, security cameras, system, and even a bookcase hidden room, (had too, been wanting to since a child) I love my "spy" equiptment.

Why in God's name would a security company know anything about cameras unless they specifically advertise that? I agree, most security companies just call up an integrator and have him do an assessment if they're offering "total physical security."

Unless you're large enough to have your own systems integration division, you call someone you know can do the job.
