Well, the way I see it, (as N.A. alluded to), if someone wants my information, it's out there. In this 'digital age' it's pretty much impossible to COMPLETELY hide your information... I'm not going to throw my name out there on every site I go to, but I'm not going to cower in a dark corner of the web, either.
As broke as myspace is, it DOES have it's good points... It allowed me to get in touch with a lot of old friends I had lost contact with.. Without having to pay for investigative services, or to pay a certain reunion website a fee JUST to be able to send an email... lol

I'd get a MySpace, but I obsess enough about the fact that ---
1) I'd have to design a CSS/XHTML layout for it. It would have to be perfect. When I had a paid LJ account, I had a custom CSS/XHTML layout for it.
2) Too many people break browsers using HTML they don't understand, or worse, loading too many video files. If I have to restart Firefox on Linux, and I have on MySpace, then the site is just freaking broke.
Also, Darrell's music FTW.

Anonymous nevar forgives, and nevar forgets!
BTW, if any of you are familiar with 4chan, a single nod is sufficient.
Now, to actually comment... Those types of individuals frequent everywhere. I practice information and operational security more to keep my internet stalker (who has nothing to do with real life, just a forum I am on) in the dark more than I do to prevent people from trying to RLly kill me.
