Charlie Weiss should be fired immediately. Today, Notre Dame had the ball on the Navy 24 yard line with less than a minute left in regulation and the score tied at 28. On fourth down and eight, Weiss, instead of sending out the field goal unit, left his offense out on the field; quarterback Evan Sharpley was sacked and the game went into overtime, and Notre Dame lost in three overtimes, 46-44. What in the world was Weiss thinking not kicking the game winning field goal on fourth and 8? Once again, he found a way to lose a game that would have been won with a field goal, as opposed to leaving his offense out on the field. He should be fired immediately. Your thoughts?

That's to bad as a coach for the NE Pats Charlie was known for his don't do the obvious type plays and as we all know that worked out well for him. Guess it came back and bit him in the butt this time. It was said in the local news that the kicker was a rookie and they were afraid he might blow it in a pressure game an leave them with good field position.Last edited by Chucky; 11-05-2007, 12:55 PM.THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A 911 CALL IS FOUR MINUTES
