One thing I've learned from this site - you guys will take a poll on just about anything.

Don't really lock threads here... If its that bad, I just kill the whole thread, and the memory of it is erased from your minds.

To the topic, this would be a no for me.

No here. We've "played well with others" on occasion but never cheated. The rule is, as long as the other person is told before hand and gives consent and the chance to be present if they feel like being there then it's ok. We need a bigger bed.

                Do cyber-affairs count?

Am I not reading the tea leaves right, but from some of the posting it seems
okay to have an occasional fling or one night whoopie in your local
Motel 6, with someone besides your wife or husband.

For those who are married, I assume you were married in a church, or synagogue, before a minister, preist, or rabbi, and under the eyes of
God. Isn't part of the vows state "Keep Your Trousers or Dress on" except
                      in front of your partner.

Sorry to rant and rave on this, but I see this crap all the time.
Wives or Husbands who spend a night under the sheets with someone
beside the person they married, and find this okay

This is from someone who has been married for 25 years.

When in Air Force/Security Police assigned to preparing DD Form 398, Personal History Statement, I would take the person who prepared the form and ask a number of questions OSI and the FBI required. One of the questions was that of infidelity. Purpose was such activities might make the person susceptible to blackmail, especially if the spouse did not know. As those of us who worked in this area, an oath was taken never to reveal any information obtained while assigned to this task.
Some answers were enlightening as to personal behavior.
                        Enjoy the day,
                        Bill

The way I see it cheating is wrong fair and square. If your no longer in love with that person fix it or end it. I am a single guy, I am not into playing different women, doesn't work for me. I believer in loyalty and What goes around comes around, and treating every woman how you would want your mother, sister, daughter treated. With respect.

Temptation is a dangerous thing, yet it can be resisted and beat. As far as if a girlfriend cheated on me, there's the door don't let it hit you on the way out, ya it's gunna hurt like hell but do you really want someone who's going to betray your trust? If we breached that trust at work we'd be canned. Why should a girlfriend/boyfriend be any different.

If they cheat they obviously have no regard for trust or love.
I'm the guy you don't want to be around when your doing something wrong, but you can't wait for me to get there when your down, to fix you up...

If you don't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.

I find out mine was cheating on me when I caught an STD. I know it didn't come from me because I have not been sleeping around. I put her out of my apartment later that day.

My husband cheated on me 1 month before I found out I was preggers. I didn't find out about the cheat till I was 3 weeks away from giving birth.

I've been on both sides of this issue (the cheater and the cheatee) from various past relationships. Trust is easy to lose and hard to gain.
