There are one or two members whose native and probably working language is not English. They have to be commended for writting in English.
I have one request. As I've stated in the past. I'm having a little problem with my vision due to diabeties. PLEASE post in black font! There is a new member who posts in blue on the blue background & I have a heck of a time reading his posts. Thank-you.

The spelling errors bother me, but I can live with those. The grammar errors, well maybe. Its where someone cannot type a coherent paragraph that I go ballistic.
If I have to reread a sentence or can't figure out what the heck you're trying to say in the first paragraph (and god forbid you didn't use paragraphs) I"ll just move on to the next interesting thing to read.

applations for security why so long
Well those are some very good points as to why it doesn't matter on an application or a incident report being read in court or what the potential employer thinks of your detail to things.
tattedupboy said it much better than I could. I have in the past had reports that I needed to scan in my comp and try to spell check them before I forwarded them to the big guy.
Also I am a firm believer that if you have a problem then always go right away to the CEO or whomever is at the top. I was pissed that a product I purchased did not work as advertised. My exact line was This item doze not work and I would like a refund. Well once you hit the send key it's all over but the crying and when the computer approved Doze instead of does I was the one crying. That was 15 years ago and I am still embarrassed that I wasn't a little more careful when I proof important documents looking for just those kind of mistakes. Anyway hope this is more helpful than harmful.

By the way, what in the world does this have to do with security?
Any way, careless spelling and grammar errors do bother me. Seems to me that being tolerant of such carelessness is either a poor reflection upon the American system of education. Furthermore, carelessness in spelling and grammar makes posts difficult to follow and understand. At least for the sake of reading ease, I believe that it is essential for all posts to be proofread prior being posted. All this is coming from someone who corrects English for a living and has been doing so for the past 7 years.

Hint
Eye reolize dat English ain't uer first lagunge so it is undar stand able dat yous might miss pell a word or too so here is a very small program that is free and will work on any form fill including forums. After you type a word it will beep to let you know right away of a misspelled word and give you a choice of correct spelling.
Most browsers have a spell check included but if yours doesn't then try this one. Did I mention it's free? Remember people other than ourselves read what we write and many misspelled words indicate that the writer is not concerned nor cares which could relate to his or her working style also. I use Mozilla Firefox as a browser that has it's own spell check and also use Tiny spell and still on occasion neither one knows what the hell I'm trying to spell.
