    Officer.com registration

    I registered at Officer.com about a week ago, and they told me I could start posting as soon as my account was validated (they'd e-mail me when that occurred). I'm still waiting on the e-mail. Anyone else had this happen to them? How long can I expect to wait?

    My e-mail address on file is correct and I told them I was not sworn law enforcement, so...

          1. This is not Officer.com. LPGuy did not post on Officer.com, he posted on SecurityInfoWatch.com

          2. While this is a Cygnus Business Media site, its in a different group (Cygnus Security Group, while O.com is part of Cygnus Public Safety Group), and they have different IT departments. You'll need to use the "Contact Us" button on the bottom of the Officer.com forums to get support for Officer.com forums.

              It can take a while due to volume of activity on that forum (I don't manage it, but I went through the registration process a long while back and it was similar). I would use the "contact" button on the forums and send them a short note asking to be registered.

                      LP I would like to appologize. I was very new at that time, and still am, to this sight and was directed here via officer.com so I thought it was the same site. I have learned since then.
