    Hey Condo Guard
    I know thing are not
going great in Seattle with higher taxes, and homeless problems, but the Emerald city could be dancing in the streets in October if
the Mariners can stay strong. https://www.mlb.com/mariners
You got a fan out here on the East Coast

It is kind of shocking - we're used to being constantly disappointed, and with Cano's suspension the team could have easily gone into a slump. Instead, we're actually playing solid baseball and winning games. If we can get through this month (we've got a tough stretch including the Red Sox and the Yankees) I'll start musing about a playoff run.

I'd like this to be the Mariners turnaround year, if for no other reason than the fact our mighty Seahawks will in a "building year." Granted, we saw it coming (too many older players and a bloated payroll), but I was surprised at how many players were let go - from what I've heard, there were quite a few off the field issues, and I suspect some house cleaning was done. Pete is good at getting young talent, but it will take a season or two to get these guys up to speed and working smoothly.

I'm also looking forward to NHL in Seattle, but I have to admit, I've been a Canucks fan for so long (over 20 years) I'm not sure I can make the switch...

Yes I would nice to see Seattle have an NHL team...For a city of its size just 2 sports teams

Yeah, maybe relocate a team from one of the southern states. I personally believe no city should have an NHL team if it doesn't get cold enough for ice to freeze on its own at least part of the year....
