  • Tax time in the U.S.A.

It is about this time that W-2 tax statements have rolled in
that we start working on our taxes before April 15th.

Here is some suggestions from a wise old Tax Accontant,
who has been doing my taxes for 25 years, and have always
    received a refund.

If as in my case my Operations Manager e-mails me at home
then I can write off on my taxes:

    AOL
    Norton Anti-Virus
    Ink for my Epson Printer
    Staples inkjet paper
    Verizion Land Line Charges
Electricity to run my Notebook computer
Up to a 1/3 of my home is cost of running a business
And yes if you bought a new computer from Best Buy
    as I did in 2006,
that too is a tax write off.

My lovely wife cleans my uniform
So the cost of doing laundry, including Tide detergant
water, and electricity is a tax write off.

I have Cingular which I call at my site,
and my Operations Manager calls me
Yup tax write off for Cingular.

I do not get paid to go to work,
but if I go from one an site to another site
as I do a lot, then mileage between sites,
including jumping on the subway and riding
to the other site in Boston. The cost of
the subway ride is a tax write off.

You dry clean your blazer for
    Allied/Barton or Securitas?
    Tax write off !!

    Securitas or Guardsmark
    state you have shinned shoes?
That KiWi shoe polish is a tax write off.

    Finale:
    STAY AWAY FROM H.R. BLOCK
