The guys had bread and steaks shipped in daily, and would post the box (broken down) and the invoice from the bakery in Philly on a message board, under a large sign that said "REAL PHILLY STEAKS."
Amaroso Rolls, probably... they are what MAKE a Philly Cheese Steak!

Oh... and I forgot - TastyKake! They also ship worldwide so that Philly transplants can get a taste of home from anywhere.

Montreal smoked meat is shipped all over the world too!

Nobody guessed what poutine is yet.

My borough of Verdun is even famous for something although the store that makes them has moved to the neighbouring borough of Lasalle - humbug candies, made by Stillwells.

How could I forget the soft pretzels? They taste best when sold off the cart, where the old guy handles the food after scratching his crotch and handling cash - And he uses a small napkin... no tissue paper, and no gloves

Since, in Houston it must be a requirement to have lined up a Mexican restaurant in order to get a building permit for a strip mall, I believe that Mexican food has to be it for us!
