I need to vent. I don't know if it's full moon or what but I just had to deal with 2 angry guests today re lost items. One lost a ring TWO (2) years ago & is upset that even if we found it back then we did not hold onto it. The other lost a $700.00 camera 3 months ago. The law says we have to hold things 60 days. We hold them for 90. So far almost 1200 items have been found this year. Imagine the space we'd need if we had to hold everything for 2 + years.

    I feel better now

OK, here's the quiz. What's the other chain we own a franchise to?

Lost it 2 years ago and just now filing a claim? Hmmmm shumpin fishysh gowan on here!

If they did report it lost back then that is their problem. Even if they did report the loss that doesn't mean you are going to find the item.

The same goes for the camera.

Oh yeah, now that you mentioned it I lost a Monet, a Dali sketch, and a Rolex there about 10 years ago. I WANT IT NOW!

I thought it was because you slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

A year ago, I could of stepped outside, crossed the street, and come back in with, "No, but I did stay at one."
