Two males face charges after an altercation and stabbing outside the Osborne Village Motor Inn.

Police say two male patrons became disorderly Friday night and got into arguments with other patrons in the bar.

They were asked to leave and were escorted out by security officers. But, the two tried to return. Security then tried to escort the males off the property. At that point, it's alleged one of the males stabbed a security officer in the upper body.

Two other security guards disarmed the suspect and held both males until police arrived.

A 28 year old security guard was admitted to hospital in critical condition with multiple stab wounds. He has since been upgraded to stable.

A 20 and 30 year old are in custody. They face a variety of charges.
