A 22-year-old man charged yesterday with stabbing a man Thursday is scheduled for an initial appearance tomorrow at District Court.
Noland Oneisom of Mo'ili'ili was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal property damage. He was being held in lieu of $35,000 bail today at the main police station cellblock.

Oneisom also has two outstanding warrants totaling $400.

The 22-year-old male security guard stabbed in the thigh while struggling with Oneisom was not seriously injured.

Do you notice that an awful lot of these attacks are involving knives, not guns. It seems like people with knives are much more likely to use them. Something to consider if someone ever pulls one out on you.

      Yea

This is why our bouncers carry OC and Mag-Lites, they tend to be effective in defending against knives to some extent. Unfortunately, the best defense against the knife-wielding arse is the sidearm. I have also begun training more in-depth in Krav Maga and Goku Shorei. Both of these train fairly well in how to defend one's self against armed attack...
