Jerks like the guy the guard and trooper dealt with are forever out there to deal with.

Oh well, as long as the approx 5% criminal, idiot, part of the population is out there (approx 15,000,000 people) there will be plenty more incidents like this one still to come.

    Yeah, 15,000,000 v. how many LEO's & SO's? Not a good ratio.

    College Security Guard, Trooper, Assaulted

    11/26/2007 11:35 AM ET

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP)- Delaware State Police have arrested a Goldey Beacom student from Elkton, Maryland, who allegedly assaulted a campus security guard and a state trooper.

Eighteen-year-old Adam Hayes is charged with resisting arrest and assault.

Police say he was apparently under the influence of an unknown substance Saturday evening and began to feel strange. After he called his mother, she came to pick him up. That's when police say Hayes kicked out her car window and became violent.

He allegedly punched the security guard in the face and back. When a trooper arrived, police says Hayes started fighting with the trooper and both tumbled down an embankment. Other troopers arrived to help get Hayes into custody.

Neither the trooper or the guard required medical treatment.
