  • Security Gunned Down at Rap Video Filming

    New York -
Israel Ramirez, 29, was shot in the chest outside the building where rap artist Busta Rhymes was filming a video. One unidentified source stated security had asked a group of rowdy men to leave 30 minutes earlier. The shooting is still under investigation.

This other account gives a bit more detail. The security officer had been a member of the artist's entourage since the mid 1990's.

I'm not surprised. That's high-risk security. Too many bad guys.

This may sound trite, but if anything screams "round peg in a square hole," I don't know what would qualify.
It would appear no one anticipated trouble, forgetting what has happened when these events take place.
          May Israel rest in peace.
          Enjoy the day,
          Bill

              Rapper Not Cooperating with Investigation

Busta Rhymes, the rapper who employed Mr. Ramirez as a bodyguard, seems to be uncooperative in speaking with homicide detectives regarding the incident surrounding his death. Details here.
