MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- A Brinks armored truck once again became the target of armed robbers on Wednesday.
The truck was at a CVS Pharmacy along 199th Street in Miami Gardens on Wednesday afternoon when it was held up.
Police said armed men stormed two Brinks guards in front of the store as the guards attempted to make a pick-up.
Gunshots were exchanged and one guard was shot. He was taken to an area hospital and there was no word on his condition
