    exactly

A good reminder of why it's important to be sprayed in training.

Then, in a situation like this, fight through it and serve up a nice dish of deadly force upon your attacker.

  • Security Guards Maced In Armored Car Robbery

    ALTON, IL - (KTVI - myFOXstl.com) --
Two men are in custody after allegedly attacking two security guards outside the Olin Community Credit Union in Alton.

Police say two men attacked two armored car security guards who had just arrived at the bank for a pick up. The suspects used mace or pepper spray to subdue the guards and took an undisclosed amount of money from the armored car.

Police say the suspects then fled the scene, but luckily a witness saw them as they got into their vehicle, called police and gave then a description of the getaway car.

An officer in the vicinity spotted the car and a chase ensued. The suspects crashed in a corn field a short time later.

Police say they then tried to flee on foot, but were caught and taken into custody.

The identities of the suspects have not been released.

The security guards were taken to a local hospital where they were having their eyes flushed. They are expected to be okay.
