It was just before 11pm Sunday when police were called to the car dealership on Gessner and Timberwood. When they arrived, they found the security guard who had been stabbed at least five times -- twice in the chest, twice in the back and once in the arm.

The guard lives in an apartment located on the lot. Police are not sure if the suspect, who ran from the scene, was trying to break into the dealership when the guard confronted him or if the suspect intended to rob the guard.

The victim was transported to the hospital. There's no word on his condition. If you have any information, you are asked to call police.
