all that matters is how we saved that one life that one time by being in the right place at the right time.... -
Any type of traffic control is dangerous. Drivers don't discriminate; they will run over cops or security guards. We often equate moving violation stops with danger because of the unknown status of the occupants and any "hardware" they may be packing. Still, think of how many cops die each year because another car/truck hits the officer, his car, or the vehicle that he stopped.
