LP investigator is an experienced multi-store investigator. The successful candidate will be responsible for internal/external theft investigations, interviews, and referral for prosecution. Initiate internal investigations using reports and information received. Conduct surveillances. May install, use and maintain CCTV equipment. Oversee cases to final disposition via follow-through on terminations/prosecutions. Maintain accurate and detailed case files. Develop and maintain strong communications with Store Management, the District Operations Manager and District Human Resources Manager. Develop strong partnership with Law Enforcement and prosecutor's office. Other security or loss prevention duties/projects assigned by the Regional LP Manager. Set yearly personal goals and objectives. Make LP shrink reduction recommendations. Travel may be necessary at times.
REQUIREMENTS
The proven ability to partner with store, human resources, and district management to prevent company loss, strong investigative and interviewing skills, knowledgeable in CCTV use and installation related applications, good knowledge of civil and criminal retail theft laws, excellent written and verbal skills, able to handle and prioritize multiple investigations, strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and other Windows applications.
