I'm looking for Navy Blue, BDU, pants and shirts, Security Officer and American Flag shoulder patches, and Security caps. Anyone have a suggested supplier? Recommend a certain brand?

Costwise, if you're strictly looking for BDU stuff, you may want to check local military surplus shops... SOMETIMES they have good deals... Otherwise, I'd look into Quartermaster.. Quality isn't outstanding, but isn't horrible either, and their prices are pretty darn good for most of their stuff.

As far as price/durability, I've been more than happy with Blauer uniforms over the years. Everyone has their own preference, in my case I can p/u blauer at local supply shops without waiting for Quartermaster or Galls to get the patches sewn on.

I would suggest, not going with 5.11. Their Navy Blue and black items last about ONE wash before noticeable fading, even with cold water and color guard detergents.

One lesson I've learned with Navy Blue items, you have to have brand integrity. Many Brands ship "Midnight Navy Blue" without advertising, and the contrast between Reg. Navy Blue and Midnight Navy Blue is huge. Just something to watch out for.

Same here, always been satisfied with Blauer products. You might try the online Galls catalog if you don't want to go to a uniform store. They've always been quick and helpful. And as Jimmyhat stated, don't mix navy blue uniforms from different suppliers.

Definately go with Blauer. We use pretty much all Blauer gear at work, except the shirts (Elbeco) and I have no complaint about any of it.
