I'd never even heard of that. There was a lot of talk that private security people were not authorized to go to Homeland Security Expo, which was complete BS as there were several ads in Federal Computer Week for IT security personnel. Hell, ASIS was there, I think, as well.

I had emailed them and asked before I even signed up and all I need is my certification card as proof of Id.
