Off Duty Security Guard Kills Robber

San Antonio, TX:
A security guard, Jino Velasquez, 23, who had just gotten off his shift was arriving at his home and was approached by three suspects. One had a gun in his hand. The security officer opened fire on the suspect, hitting him and also hitting one accomplice in the leg. The suspects were able to drive away, but the armed suspect died at the hospital they drove to. Both surviving suspects admitted they were trying to rob Velasquez.
