Here at the hospital, there is no smoking on the campus so we just shoo them out to the sidewalk, u can't stop people from smoking.

We just passed a law that you can't smoke within 3 meters of public buildings. It's quite the hassell to enforce.

Quebec's law also stops smoking x feet from the entrance to schools & medical facilaties. (I do not remember the exact figure). But we do not need a tape measure to enforce it. The law also requires the school or hospital to paint a blue line on the ground indicating the boundry.
