School Shootings

I just heard about the shooting at NIU in Dekalb, IL. The shooting was the fourth at a U.S. school within a week. Also on Feb. 8, a woman shot two fellow students to death before committing suicide at Louisiana Technical College in Baton Rouge. In Memphis, Tenn., a 17-year-old is accused of shooting and critically wounding a fellow student Monday during a high school gym class, and the 15-year-old victim of a shooting at an Oxnard, Calif., junior high school has been declared brain dead.

A few days ago a shooting was averted at my Alma Matter CSC in Canton, MO. A kid got arrested for having an "rock-n-roll" AK and semi-auto pistol in his dorm room.

What I'm asking is does anyone work Campus Security and come across anything like this regularly or is this just a "burst" of bad kids?

Rock-n-roll means fully automatic. His AK47 could empty the clip before you could get the "sh--" after the "oh".

I dunno

but I'm in college and it look smore and more like it's worth risking the felony charges to start carrying on campus. I hope something changes in the future. I don't wanna start the whole concealed campus debate, but I wish I could carry. Our campus security is lame, commands no respect, and has absolutely zero authority on campus. I should know, I used to work for them...If someone comes out here with a gun, we're all screwed.

I am online with my university as it is a fast track degree so I don't have to worry about it but attending an exam before Xmas it just takes 1 crazy ............
