This would be something that the client should be discussing with the account manager. Your contract company could wish to charge more money to provide this "FTO" position service.

Some firms look unkindly on employees who basically give services away for free.

Assuming all is well, I would look at the NAFTO's guidelines for basic FTO coursework, and expand on that with site specific stuff.
