just found this video... if they are that easy to get out of ... well... um.... kind of scary.
Its not how we die that counts.....
Its not how we lived that counts....
all that matters is how we saved that one life that one time by being in the right place at the right time....

All that movies tells me is that you need to follow propper restraint procedures when handcuffing someone. If you do it right, and do a thurough search you will not face that problem.

If you see the suspect squirming/moving around, check them again to make sure they are not trying to open the cuffs.

I agree who handcuffs in the front ? if the person has a medical problem id have no problem using 2 sets of cuffs in the rear. The only problem is in some states the only person who may search a detainee or prisoner is a sworn law enforcement officer.

Agreed - we were always trained when you do handcuff someone you have a duty of care to check on their welfare to ensure the cuffs are not too tight or placed in a way to injure that person. I have see the double cuffs used on some larger offenders who are injured or those who have a special need for health reasons.

My sister can make the palm of her hand thinner than that of her wrist and slip out of any set of handcuffs. It's kinda weird.

Toss her into some flex-Tuff Cuffs, see how she fairs with that.

When I tried to view the video, I was given the message that it was removed due to copyright issues. Does anyone have another link to it? I would really like to see it.
