Another movie that comes to mind (however this being hotel personnel), would be The Fugitive. When Tommy Lee and the calvary enter the hotel where Harrison Ford is confronting his "friend and colleague".

Annnd another movie, which was interesting to me was Gone in 60 Seconds. The part where they are stealing the Escalade (I think it was an Escalade), and the girl catches them stealing it and she yells "call security", and here comes security initiating a pursuit with shots fired.

Gimme a few, I am sure I can think of some others...

          hehe

I like National Security, it was funny, but that one didn't show private security in any kind of positive light.

**SPOILER ALERT for anyone planning on seeing it**

Lets see, guy becomes ex cop after dealing with a severe numbnuts who (of couse) is a S/O. Ex-cop gets the only job he can, a securty job (which never would have happened in CA for real, the ex-cop was a ex-con lol) and "graduates" from a week long security academy surrounded by people would would look more at home at a homeless shelter than in a uniform, ends up working with the same guy who got him fired (a S/O who always wanted to be a cop but never cound and who happens to own and carry an illegal machine pistol BTW, and remarks "i've been waiting for this my whole life") and on the movie goes until.....

....both guys save the day. And what's the 1st thing that happens after they save the day? The stop beig S/Os altogether and end up being "real cops" (because heros can't be security guards), with the ex-cop being re-instated despite a felony record lol.

The movie was one big huge sterotype writ large lol. If it were in private security , and even though I know not to take movies seriously, I think I'd have been offended by it.

              This one?

It was funny, I like the original ending a bit better because it's less cheesy (no skimpy outfitted ladies in that one though, which is a shame). The part about the Casino was funny as hell though.

Because you can never ever have enough weed smoking unarmed security guards who get robbed and beat up over and over again.....

Did anyone ever see the show Campus Cops? If you didn't, be thankful.

Kuffs was pretty good. Focused on the Special Police Patrol which is unique to San Francisco.
