      welcome to the group and yes i can

      At this time I rent two bedroom apt for 850 a month. i have a wife and 2 children. I bearly make it but eveything spare cent goes to saving to buy a house. Hopely in a year or two the market will be right for 1st time buyer.

        One of the security company owners in Toronto wrote a book about private security (with particular focus on his company, which does a lot of low-income housing units). One of his arguments about why private security was suited for patrolling low-income housing was that the guards "lived in the same area they worked". How's that for advertising "our guards patrol the worst areas of the city, and because of what we pay them, they have to live there, too..."

          Yeah, that's not something i'd want to be putting out there. However, I use to work a joint venture with the county police. It was talked about offering some free townhouses for security and police officers. If you're single, why not.. however if you have a family i'd be against it.
