    Unarmed or armed ?

well first of Unarmed is when I got my license back in 2003, required 8hrs class room time, and pass a 100 question test with 80 percent or better.

Armed was when i took class this year 8 hrs class room time and 6 hrs on the range.

Most companies perfer you to have license before you apply, but the company i work for does not they will train you for your license.

Becareful as to which company you are considering employment with a few companies have bad reputations here in utah

on being "Metro Protective Agency" they were uniforms that resemble county sheriff, and back in i believe it was either 2004/2005 2 of their guard broke in to cop cars to steal equipment and computers.

stay away from Salt Lake Valley Protective, Statewide Security, Champman Security and Invesatgations and Ronin Risk they are known for not paying their employees on time.

some companies to consider CBI SECURITY ( i work for them), Peak Alarm, All American Security, Davis Security, Sos Security, and the big ones securitas, wackenhut, pinkerton government services.

PM me with questions if you have any
or want numbers and address to my company or one listed.

More Information can be found here

There is no Outline Available, it is kept "secert" due to PASCO, which is an group of company owners whom help create new rules and laws that affect Security Industry here in Utah, however the test is not open book, but you will take it after watching 8 hrs worth of videos. it only cost 99.00 dollars to get your license, unless you want to pay a company to train you, if your not working for a company at the time Peak Alarm offers the training at 250.00 dollars, i have seen other groups offer it for 200.00
