Born in Westmount Quebec, a suburb of & on the island of Montreal.(It's where the hosptial was). Lived all my life in Verdun Quebec which used to be a suburb 5 minutes south west of downtown Montreal. A few years ago we were "taken over" by Montreal & have become a borough instead of a suburb.

Five years 1974-1979 lived in Houston

Being probably the only conservative Republican in the state, where
the two class clowns are my Senators. ..Teddy Kennedy, and John Forbes
Kerry, are the minus side of having to live here.

The plus is the weather. We have it all. Today it is suppose to be above
ninety degrees. January 2003 it was eight degrees below zero outside my home. In the winter of 1995-1996 dumped 95 inches of snow in our town.
We have had earthquakes, tornado have been spotted in our area, and in
1985 hurricane Gloria took out 30 trees in my yard.

We have the best and worse in sports. The Red Sox and Patriots will give you heart aches on day, and the next day there is a victory parade in downtown Boston. The Celtics and Bruins have had better years.

The most pristine beaches in the world are right here. Walk along miles and miles of beaches on Cape Cod. Nauset Beach is beautiful

Out in the western part of the state are the Berkshire Mountians
Mount Greylock in North Adams is breath taking in the fall.


I whine and groan about the cost of living here, and yes the corrupt
politicians, and how I would move in a heartbeat, then I hear about
droughts in Florida, floods in Texas, and brutal heat in Phoenix, and
Las Vegas.

Maybe it ain't so bad here after all

Wow..... Born in Italy, only lived there for 3 months then to England for 3 years then to NY... bit of time in Conn and now back to CT. Lived in North Carolina and Iraq for a bit! Love those Uncle Sam vacation spots!

Still have a United Kingdom passport.
