Its not how we die that counts.....
Its not how we lived that counts....
all that matters is how we saved that one life that one time by being in the right place at the right time....

After the sentencing, Barber's sister-in-law, Felicia Barber, said Barber received a raw deal in exchange for his agreement to testify. She said prosecutors and defense attorneys pressured him into taking the deal.

She is right they both should have gotten a date with old Sparky. There should be no plea or bargain deals in capital cases. Especially when the victim is wearing any kind of badge that shows his intent is only for the betterment of others. EMS, Fire, Le, Security etc
THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A 911 CALL IS FOUR MINUTES
THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A .357 MAGNUM ROUND IS 1400 FEET PER SECOND?

Its Florida, it took us 10+ years to get into the battery upgrade law as the government thought it would elevate guards above "ordinary citizens." This was the murder of an "ordinary citizen," unfortunately.
