  • Time magazine series on contract security

People who work for the company told TIME that oversight is lacking and they feel unprepared for dangers on the job.

Actually the third article in a series - I recommend the other two. Its Time, so their bias and prose isn't the best, but a good summary of the industry.

The really sad thing is, this article could have been written in the 1990s, when I got my first taste of contract security. Some small companies I've worked for have actually been pretty decent - but how does a Mom and Pop company compete with low ball bids from A-U or Securitas?
