As I said, our Scandinavian roots used to mean that people at least behaved themselves in public, and the police used to be there to make sure of that. I've say Seattle is now the "Wild West," but that isn't right - I'm pretty sure this stuff wasn't tolerated in those days.
CG: I Googled, patriarchal paradigm" I came away more confused than understanding

"progressive" parents find it okay for their six year old daughter to bathe in a water fountain with a naked man?

"progressive" parents I am assuming in your home, Mom is not called Mom If Betty is her name the kids call her Betty
Dad is not Dad, If his name is Ronald, he is called Ron ??

That will pretty much rule out Farther and Mothers day, in the homes of "progressive" parents

I am 72 years old, and my 46 year old my 47 year old daughter still calls me Dad

        2 Timothy 3:1–5 NKJV

3 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

As long as the BSA is made up primarily of children/young adults they IMO should maintain an absolutely neutral position. They don't acknowledge it at all. My children would certainly never march behind a rainbow flag and if their scouting troop was behind it they'd be taken out of Scouting. My children did not go to public school
(Neither did I, I went to Catholic school for 13 years, k-12.)

That's your choice. You are more than entitled to your beliefs, as long as they do not infringe upon the rights of others.

I don't care how you spin this but Veterans should receive 12 months non-stop of being honored As I type this our best friends son is somewhere in the Navy on a SUB His Mom worries every day about him There is a cemetery not far from my home for Veterans of Massachusetts Massachusetts finest, the men, and women who served our Country

I mean, I did a career in the Army and I served with some real dirt bags. Just wearing a uniform does not impute honor to you.
