  • Man Who Killed His Mom In 2002 Arrested In NYC Attack On 65-Year-Old Asian Woman

Has anybody here been following this? On another forum I am on, a number of people are upset that security didn't intervene. Does anyone here happen to have any additional details on this?

A protected class killed another protected class. No one intervened because they didn’t want to be seen as racist.

The Security may have had strict orders to only "observe and report." As always, it is hard to judge the situation by a few seconds of video. If no one called 911 or attempted to render aid after the guy left, then yes, they should have been fired.

Here are a few answers, as of 4-6-21:

The assailant reportedly punched and kicked the 65-year-old woman, identified as Vilma Kari, in the head outside of a building owned by The Brodsky Organization in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan. NYPD says 65-year-old Asian American woman was walking to church this morning when suspect assaulted her and said “f*** you, you don’t belong here.”
