    Various Seattle area school districts are doing the same. As Soper pointed out, they're just making an AS incident more likely. The excuse is the police make students of color "uncomfortable." (Despite the fact that schools with a resource officer generally have less gang related incidents, etc.)

    I haven't confirmed it yet, but one of the major universities here in WA (hint: the mascot is a husky) won't allow any surveillance cameras on campus except for roads (which is controlled by department of transportation and used for traffic monitoring). I have a feeling this is so the campus radicals and their cohorts can move freely without worrying about being detected. Pretty sad.
