I took the Canadian Border Services testing last year, and passed. There were sample tests on line, is there for the US?
They were testing memory for recall ability, amount remembered, etc.
Also, if this happens, what do you do, scenarios.
Learning a second language, as noted, may give you the edge, even if you get sent to the Canadian border along Ontario or Quebec, french would help, but spanish for sure along the south. Would there also be Border Agents covering airports worldwide?Quote me as saying I was mis-quoted.

I was a BPA for a very short time. (About three months.) It's a good job.
You should start with this: It is a Border Patrol Agent, NOT a Border Patrol Officer position you are testing for! Big difference.Comment

Good luck. I don't know much about the test, but, we do extensive work for the Border patrol in the Tucson sector. The agents I 've talked with love the job, but, say it's hard work. The "boot camp" they say is somewhat hard but not too bad. The main problem they have are the "coyotes" (people smugglers). When confronted they will take off with 30-50 people in a truck. It usually ends up with a wreck and all of the life flight helicopters in southern Arizona being dispatched. It is a major burden to our states health care system.
If your in the Tucson sector we may run into eachother some time.
Great choice of career. They are a great bunch of guys and gals.Comment

I stand as an ordinary citizen. I have no right to; detain, interrogate or otherwise interfere with your personal property-... basically all that means is I'm a cop."-Officer Ernie
