Alright, is there actually a market for Access + Visual Basic for Applications programs like IRindex? I'm too used to working in IT, where Access is the devil and Microsoft shops build their applications to use MS SQL Server 2006. Access DB's eventually choke on all the records and die.

I ask, because I've been tempted to start offering a program that's Access based. Would people buy it?

    We use IRindex

Not internet based per say, but it can be accessed from most of our computers.

I'm deep into the process of selecting an incident management software system and I'm stuck and confused. Specifically, if any of you have recent experience with Report-Exec, D3, or iView... I need to talk to you asap. My office is 2zero6-386-4128 or shoot me an IM.

There's a high likelyhood I'm just gonna break down and use ReportExec Direct. Why reinvent the wheel?

I poked around and it's impressive. Our duplicate reports seem archaic now.

We use a company that intergrates all reports and statistics in an online format. You can private message me if you would like information.

We use a system called D3. It seems to be good enough, but there are some flaws in the programming and it's awfully slow. I also wonder about the security of it sometimes.

I know there are some of you who use the internet to write reports on. I wonder if you could tell me the name of the systems, as well as give your opinion of them...the programs, not if they "suck for doing reports on" (although that wouldn't be so bad either, I guess).
