    Incident: Attempted Child Abduction

    Time of Call: 3:48 p.m. August 10, 2006

    Location: 2700 block Stanford Drive

    Summary: An 8 year old female complainant and her mother have reported that on August 10, 2006 at 2:16 p.m. in the 2700 block of Stanford Drive a white/male suspect attempted to physically abduct the child. The suspect parked his vehicle nearby, approached the child, grabbed her by the arm and tried to drag her to his vehicle. She was able to resist and break free from the suspect at which time she ran home to notify her mother.

    The suspect is described as a white/male about 6’2”, 200 lbs. (thin), approximately 40 years of age, light short hair. He was wearing unknown color long pants with a red/black shirt that may match the pants. The suspect vehicle is described as a gold unknown year model pick-up truck with unknown lettering on the sides and red flames decorating the rear portion of the vehicle.
