I remember it was a cold winter night, and I was walking the beat at the mall I worked for. My newly immigrated dispatcher, who spoke crappy English, sent me to an emergency at one of our call boxes on the other side of the campus (about 2 or 3 blocks away). I remember my adrenaline rushing throughout my body. I literally "flew" there in about 9 min. and 42 sec. When I got there I found the most beautiful woman standing at the call box. She had a flat tire on her 1992 Cavalier. I changed that tire in about 25 min. I can surely say that if I had not been working, that woman would not have gotten home safely. Being a mall security guard brings me joy when things like this happen. I know I really make a difference in someone's life, and the community. This night I was able to translate broken English, and ended up making someone's day. What a night I will never forget!!
