"There is somewhat of an incestuous relationship between private security and police officers," Levenson said.

Now that would make one think she has done work on the police, security, and the relational aspects of the two groups. So a quick look at her page on the Loyola web site:

    http://www.lls.edu/academics/faculty/levenson.html

and viola! I don't see where she can claim any authority on the subject for which (and I know she's a lawyer) she shot her mouth off about. Just looking for another 15 minutes of fame.

Lawyer: The police are allowing security guards to act like officers, and not preventing it.
