  • Do they make notebook holders for duty belts?

I have checked all the usual suspects web sites, galls, quartermaster, etc. but can not find one if made at all?

'slinger; (Whoa! Just had a flashback moment, using that name!)

You might need to go outside the LE/Secur industry suppliers to get that; maybe take a look at Supply Cache (firecache.com). They specialise in wildland fire and USAR/All-risk equipment.

I've got one of these for my compass, but would work just as well for a small notebook, etc (disregard the color in the picture; it comes in several colors, including basic black):

Leather or nylon? I seem to remember long ago there was a leather citation form holder made for a duty belt, but this is from say, 20 plus years ago... I would think that any case designed to carry a 3X5"ish cell phone would work as well. Does your uniform not have pockets?

Thatchcreed/Viper also make nylon notepad holsters/pouches, you'd likely find something suitable on eBay as well

Can anyone tell me where I can get a leather holder for my sunglasses and wristwatch? I want it to be a combo holder.

Also, how do I polish my OC canister? Do I use carnuba wax?

I have to say I have never seen anyone do this before other than for parking ticket writers but did a quick search for you.

Exactly what you looking for is here... all be it overseas Several different sizes but will have to wait a while for it in stock.
                  http://www.closeprotectionworld.co.u...uipment/2.html

Also I found a neat little multi-pouch for the duty belt. Again overseas though. It holds more than just the notebook, good for ticket writing etc.

All these are nylon, I couldn't find any other materials. Also most people just keep their notebook in their uniform pocket as I do. I use Rite in the Rain notebooks so they don't require all the protection from the elements as most generic notebooks do.

Another idea... MOLLEE. You can use these over the duty belt... although it doesn't look 100% as they are not molded nylon but it will do the job. I currently use a MOLLEE single pistol mag holster to hold a monocular on my duty belt. Tried many CS holsters but they are to deep or small but this works perfect. It doesn't look as sharp as the other things on there but it doesn't look redneck/ghetto either. I can post pics of how I did this to get it rigid enough for me to use at work if you are interested.

I had trouble finding a leather cell phone holder for my iPhone covered in that massive OtterBox Defender case. The belt clip that came with it is crap. So I bought a camera case in leather that had a belt loop and it fits perfectly. It also happens to fit a couple of these little spiral notebooks! It cost me $4 at Wal-Mart and look pretty good. I dont know how long it would hold up on duty but it would certainly work till one off the net was shipped from Malaysia or Taiwan.

Rip-Offs may have what you are looking for. I picked up a clip-on case from them for my Leatherman SuperTool 300 and SureFire G2. Works pretty well and has held up for a few years now.

Here is a PDA case that may fit your needs:

                        case

ok here I go again ....first if you have a local Tandy or Leathercrafter store ask them if they can recomend some one to do custom work for you. If you do not have any of those shops try your local cobbler......I have made a lot of special gear for other guards and cops note book folders that go on the belt are easy and as far as that S***A** yes there is a way to make a sunglass case for a uniform belt and one cop wanted a case for his watch (it was a pocket watch) ............

                        cookie (the cobbler)
Some mornings it dosn't pay to gnaw through the leather straps

I use CopshopUK.com and NITON999.co.uk to get things like notebook pouches.

Go to NITON999 and do a search for ''Pouches'' then take your pick, they've got quite a few. They'll ship from the UK though so you probably wonna think about shipping prices and all that guff.
