  • Inova T2 Flashlight

Has anyone used one of these. I have been looking for a decent led light without the expense of a streamlight and the like.

I carry an Innova that runs off one AA battery. While it won't light up a city block, its good for a quick task light and general purpose light.

Only gripe I have about Innova in general is their tailcaps are touchy.

      Thanks N.A. Corbier

I like the battery life on the T2. If I have to go on post with a duty belt and equipment, I take a 4D maglite. Just thinking that this would work well as a side kick with my leatherman.

I carry a Streamlight Stinger on my duty rig. You can't forget the Stinger, its always in its case. You CAN forget to charge the damn thing, but you can't leave it in the shack or in the car.

I also keep a XL-20 (Streamlight's Maglite) on a ring on the belt, in case I remember to grab it on the way out.

The best LED light that I have used came from a Herrington mail-order catalog. It has two settings and is VERY bright. Somewhat pricey though. I let my wife keep it in her car because she's not one to check the batteries and her Mag-Lite always seemed like it was on its last flicker of light.
