Decent First Aid kit

Can anyone recommend a decent first aid bag? The current one we have looks like a gym bag or bowling ball bag. It is unorganized. We need something small and organized that we can carry on our First Aid calls. Currently, Cintas First Aid refills our cabinets with supplies but not our bags and does not offer a bag, just a carry cabinet. Our SOP's call for taking an AED and First Aid bag to ALL first aid calls so I doubt a cabinet is going to be acceptable. Thanks!

A large tackle box from *** Mart may do the trick if wanting to spend less than from a hospital type supplier. Lots of compartments, fairly tough and water resistant. Probably depends on how often it is used.

F.E.S. - my post for a medics pack is a tri fold pack that folds out and I used to have a waist bag (not going to say the F word) for outdoor stuff (now your wallet) which had a fold out 2 park pack as well. Site kits for Emergency Evacuations were designed as Tool Boxes that could be grabbed and I think these are great as you can open the cantilever box up to get to the bandaids, tape and saline bottles ASAP.

I know this is from Australia but there has to be someone who is going to have nylon fold out bags similar to this in the USA. This is a not for profit group who supply volunteer services to sporting and major events via fee payment and operate training courses as well.

Depending on the size, there are a number of medic back packs produced for the military that might fit the bill. One company is Tactical Tailor (www.tacticaltailor.com), they produce an M5 Medic Pack that will fit the AED and a good selection of first responder medical gear.

We had to put our own bags together in my first responder class and I have used it ever since. I went with the orange and it gets the job done.
The first responder kit from dynamed/galls.. That alone is good to go, but I found over time I needed to tweak it and add a few things. Example being extra ice packs, burn kit, additional bandages, mask, etc. I'm upgrading to a BLS bag for the extra room for a BMV and some other items. There'd also be room for an AED but thats one thing I would want to get, but just not cost feasible.

That is the one! I have many of the Tactical Tailor products and can attest to them being built virtually bomb proof. The company is well known in the realm of high end tactical gear and is considered to be one of the big 5 manufacturers (along with Eagle, Paraclete, HSGI, and London Bridge).

Range Bag

Actually...my range bag works pretty well. Also check out http://www.gtdist.com . They have some pretty good gear and some decent prices. Hope it helps.
