I'm pretty sure that there are other threads with polls on this very subject, but what I want to know is not so much what the make and model of your duty weapon is (you can include it if you like in your posts), but what the caliber is. I carry a 9 mm. Also, I would prefer if this thread not turn into a debate about which calibers are superior. If possible, maybe just write why a particular caliber is right for you, without disparaging other peoples' choice of caliber.

More then likely a few threadsI carry a 40 cal with Federal hollow points. Glock 22 and Glock 23 same ammo in both. I like the 23 best. It's a little lighter with the same punch. And it conceals well off the job. I get tired of people that ask is that a Glock 22 in your pants or are you just happy to see me?
THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A 911 CALL IS FOUR MINUTES
THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A .357 MAGNUM ROUND IS 1400 FEET PER SECOND?

I carry 9mm in my Walther P99... I have no issues with .40s or .45s, but this was my first duty weapon. It has served me well these past 7 years, (not a single ftf or misfire yet!), so I see no reason to switch for now.
My wife just purchased a new M&P in 9mm for duty use, so after she gives me a chance to play with it, I'll be sure to post my opinions on it... lolCorbier's Commandos - "Stickin it to the ninjas!"

You forgot America's most popular round the .40. Or did you consider that under 10mm.Comment
