Do not do business with Snappy Supply's

I found this site after ordering.

03/01/2007 received shipment from snappy supply and it included everything that I ordered.

I was informed that they are under new management and will shop there again.

So it arrived in about a month. Not terribly "snappy", but a lot of companies have a little disclaimer telling customers to expect delivery times of up to six weeks. This is because a lot of companies don't stock much of anything, or at least anything that they don't get a lot of orders for. When an order comes in for anything they don't have in stock, they place an order to their supplier, and then send it on to you when they get it. Or, sometimes they drop-ship through the supplier and the supplier drops the ball, which the original seller doesn't know about immediately. Either way, an order can take a little time.

As for sending them more than 150 emails in 2 days, you were probably just shooting yourself in the foot, either because it started to look like spam to their email system or maybe just because you simply p*ssed them off.

02/20/2007 18 days after my order was billed on my credit card. still haven't received items. have not responded to NUMEROUS emails (150+ in 2 days) or phone calls.

Did you read the forum post beforehand, or found this forum through googling the name?

Hey Chucky,

We use the LT22 TT style shirts and I was wonder if you had experience with this brand, I order LawPro from Quartermaster and did not like the fact that the crease on the shirt sleeves lined up with the rear of the epalet instead of the center of it where there suppose to.

Did your original patch say who your employer is? Does your state require that your patches state your employer? In Florida, Tennessee, and Wisconsin, you are committing crimes ranging from a misdemeanor to a felony.

Here is where I get my uniforms and find the price and fast shipping very good. Although our company issues uniforms I am not to fond of wearing tac gear as it seems a little over the top and looks sloppy. I am into sharp crisp drycleaned look. One day I was looking at our company patch and decided it looked to much like the Iraqi flag.

So I found this site and ordered some that I like. It is the 706 patch and I had the word ARMED in gold put at the top. Several cops have told me they like it because it states that I am armed and is easily read from a distance. Several of my supervisors have seen me and said nothing about how I look. In fact my post was very hard to fill due to the inherent danger involved. I think they would not want to piss me off knowing that I do not do this for a living. But more for the thrill.

Well they finally refunded my money, said they were having problems with the makers of the shirt not filling orders on time so they cancelled all orders and refunded everyone. It still pisses me off that they did not have the consideration to return my emails except once and my calls AND they lied to me to begin with by telling me in the only email they sent that the order was sent. lesson learned, I'll never make this mistake again.

Yeah......I have to buy my own uniform, every Security company I've worked for I had to buy my own kind of sucks but.......Yeah from now on I will check BBB, I never had problems before ordering online so this is a real learning experience. I don't really like buying the cheap stuff but just starting out I needed something. I usually buy Elbeco, which I did with the pants but they don't make the two tone shirt I need.

Sounds about right. If you're after cheap uniforms, there are companies in California that are both retailers and manufacturers. Quartermaster is one, although I'm unsure if they still have their own uniform shirts made, or just rebrand stuff like Galls does.

This from the BBB on Snappy, verifying your experience (12 of the 15 complaints listed were identical to yours) and confirming Mr. Corbier's excellent suggestion that we check with the BBB before doing business with unknown companies:

It is also of great interest that this is a "surplus and salvage merchandising business", suggesting that they buy up whatever some retailer has in left-over inventory, factory seconds, etc., so they may well not even have something you order by the time you order it. Companies like this are notoriously slow in keeping their web offerings up to date with what they actually have in stock.

This is a warning to all Security Officers and anybody else....never do business with these clowns http://www.snappysupply.com/ They are a bunch of worthless turds. I placed an order of 143.00 for 5 shirts for a new security job at my Hospital and that was on the 29th of Nov. and today is actually 1 month now and I have not heard from them since except 1 time that they responded to an email I sent asking where my order was, They said they shipped it and would get back to me with tracking number..I've called about 5 times and emailed about 5 times, they never answer there phones and never return calls...THIS COMPANY IS A BIG POS!!!!!! I have filed a greivance with the NY Better Business Bureau for what ever thats worth..

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THESE AHOLES!!!!!
